after answering lots of questions about running in Reykjavik, it's my turn to ask running questions since I'm not finding a similar post from anyone when I search.

I'll be working in Oslo next week and have just learned that the hotel where I'm staying doesn't have a gym so I'm planning to pack my outdoor running clothes instead. I'm fairly familiar with the downtown of the city, having been to Oslo many times for work, but I can't really think of a good place where I could do a mostly uninterrupted (by lots of traffic lights) running loop of 7-10k.

Any recommendations? I'll be staying near the Oslo city museum

Well, I suppose Vigelandsparken is a bit on the small side;), to do a 10 km run you'll have to do a few loops...... Except the size, it's a lovely place to jog, and also have steps to go up;) Another option is Bygdøy, you'll have some traffic on you're way to get there, but once you reach the peninsula it's uninterrupted.
You can take the tube to Frognerseteren, (from Majorstuen wich is close to where you'll be staying), just go to the end of the line, there's several marked trails. and you don't have to come back to the same place, you can catch the tube back from another stop.
Enjoy!

You can run the outer periphery of the Botanic Gardens, but you'd have to run around quite a few times to get 7-10 km.
