Sleeping is ok - just as long as you can get one of those long lounge chairs on the far left of the building on the top floor. Some nights they clean the floors with a big beeping floor machine. Sorry, can't tell you their cleaning schedule...lol - but it is pretty quiet the rest of the time.

I'm curious about sleeping at Gardermoen airport (we arrive 11:55, depart 9:00). We have reservations at an airport hotel, but it seems like a lot to spend for a few hours sleep. I've read reviews about sleeping at the airport, but was looking for more recent experiences.

Ooops - just went to Oslo airport last week and found out the lovely long chairs on the top left have been chucked and the space is now full of office cubicles - argh!
