hey everyone just a quick question ,how long does it take to get from kjerag to prekestolen and what transport is available if any and can these places both be hiked to in a day coming from stavanger?
Roughly how long does it take to get from stavanger to the lysefjord and what is the best transport on a budget?
Also what websites do you guys recommend for details and prices etc on trains from oslo to stavanger?
This is my first trip to norway and this forum has already helped in a big way so i do much appreciate any advice you may offer, cheers.

Kjerag is at the other end (the far end) of the great Lysefjord:

I think you take a boat to Lysebotn village, and drive on a small road to the starting point. Or you can drive to via Sirdal. This area is sparsely populated, so don't expect frequent transport.

If you are very quick you can perhaps do both in one day (long summer days), but I would not recommend it.

Lysefjorden touristinfo should have all the information you need.
It will be hard to get to both places in one day, but should be doable if you are in good shape and have access to transportation.
