We are visiting Oslo in two weeks and play to stay for 7days.
Could anyone recomend some nice one or maximum two day hikes in the nature around Oslo or in distances aproachable by public transport, that would be possible to realize in this time? We preffer seing rather special places, where not everybody is going.

Tips for special places or clubs with alternative scene to visit in the citycenter also welcomed.

Thanx
Tom

In two weeks, the woods near Oslo will most likely still be covered by snow, skis would be needed. Along the coast, you could do without them - but it is kind of hard to find any unpopulated coastal areas near Oslo! The islands outside Oslo is one option, but you could not walk very far there..

There are several well marked hiking trails and the end of the T-Bahn line, this is set in national parks, but as it is up rather high overlooking Oslo snow could be a problem this time of year. I would get in touch with the local tourist authority, perhaps they may have some idea's?
