Help with winter clothing!!

Buy your winter clothing in Singapore! Quite much the same quality, at a fraction of the price.
Temperature in autumn I think can be said to be between 10 and zero centigrades.
Scandinavians would wear long jeans, sneakers, T-shirt, sweater or fleece, and a good jacket. For winter it is nice to have a down jacket, but not really in autumn.

Expect the first snowfall in November or some time in October. Most people would wear boots then but not necessarily before October. Some people wear the same shoes all year (although that is not what most people would do). The first autumn night with freezing temperatures can be expected in around early or mid-October.

If you visit mountain areas (the peak season there between Feb and Apr, but resorts often open in Dec or Nov) you may want warmer clothes. It can easily get very cold in the inland areas in Dec/Jan with temperatures below minus 10 degrees C even daytime. Since Trondheim has a more coastal climate it would be more fair to say a normal December temperature is around 0 degrees C (32 F), daytime, and a bit below that at night. hat and gloves may be necessary or comfortable even September nights and cost between around 100 and up to several hundred NOK each depending on the quality. In August that would be rarely seen though as people generally consider August a summer month. Some nights in August may be chilly, with temperatures below ten degrees.
