I just went dog sledding (for the second time - I love it so much) and have some pics and tips up on my blog. If anyone wants to go, I highly recommend it. It's a great activity for the kids!

Hi, we're going to Norway in July and would really like to do some dog sledding, do you know if we have to go as north as Tromso or is it available around Bodo? What company did you use? Cheers

There is no dog sledding in the summer - there is no snow. The season ends in the spring - usually March, when the snow is melting. Summer can get up to the 30s in Norway so you basically cannot do any skiing sports unless you are extreme sportsmen and go high up in the mountains near the glaciers. You might find some companies who have skiing but no operator will be doing dog sledding at this time.

July is mid-summer. It might be best to look into boating and whale safaris.
