Hello :))

We are taking a domestic flight from Svolvaer to Bergen via Bodo. What is the cheapest and most convenient way to travel from Bergen airport to the centre of the town?

Hi!

The Airport bus service costs 85 NOK for adults (approx. 10 Euro) and 45 NOK for children, with about 30 minutes travel time. Between 7.30 and 9.30 in the morning and 2.30 and 5.30 in the afternoon rush hours can cause delays.

If you are, say 4 people, a taxi can be about the same price as the Airport bus. "Norgestaxi" has a set price from 330 NOK (approx 40 euro) per car, "Bergen Taxi" and "Taxi 1" are around the same cost but with no set prices.

The cheapest way though is to take a suburb bus, route 523, with one change. It costs 24 NOK (3 euro) for adults, 12 NOK for children. This can however be quite time consuming and is absolutely not the most convenient way.
