Seem to remember that a double room in CityBox was 900kr per night when I stayed there - cooking facilities were there but no pots, pans or kettle to prepare food or dinks with...

Just checked and on selected dates in August Citybox has singles for 500NOK and doubles for 600-700NOK

So NOK 700 for a double with own bath and no breakfast (actually there is no staff at all at Citybox) - ie 125-130 USD.
So back at the beginning: USD 100-125 with private bath is very little - wonder if a slightly costlier hotel will include a good breakfast (that will cover lunch for most ppl) - could be an advantage?

I stay almost all the time at Hilton hotels and the breakfast is a separate charge there, and perhaps all Hotels are phasing out including a breakfast in the price of a room?
