If so, please can you tell me if there are any specific spots in Andenes from where one can watch the midnight sun stay in the horizon?

Also, do you know of any cheap places to eat in Andenes?

Andenes is at the northern tip of the island - next land towards the north is Svalbatd - 750 km away. So if you are lucky with clears skies also at the horizon you will have a fine view of the sun all night anywhere alond the northern coastline of the town (or any other point high enoungh.
If you arn't visiting right araound first and last day of the mignight-sun period you do not even need to be able to see the horozon as the sun never get down close to the horizon.

Most of Andenes has a clear view to the north, including the airport. If the weather is good, you will like walking the Breakwaters in midnight sun.

You will only need a few minutes to survey the central Andenes and find all possible places to eat.

For cheap eating, Kafé Mea is a good option. Local people and local fare at reasonable prices.
