Hello,

I'm traveling to Norway in late May with my parents who are in their mid 60s. As part of our Geiranger & Norway in a Nutshell Tour, we're staying overnight in Alesund. Can anyone recommend some reasonably priced accommodations in Alesund? I've been trying to find bed and breakfasts and apartments/rooms for rent but it's been much harder than I'd anticipated...

Thanks for the idea! I reached out to the Alesund Tourist Office a couple of days ago and received a response this morning. It seems like Alesund is very small and it's hard to find affordable accommodation apart from regular hotels. So I guess that's what I will have to go with!
