Hi,
I want to take my parents to visit Norway in the 2/3rd week of April, 2012. They will follow the route Copenhagen-Oslo-Copenhagen by cruise.
Now I want them to see the fjords as well as Bergen and they will be having 3 nights from trips out of Oslo.
Now I am not very sure about make this trip easier for them - they are not very old but still will like to make the trip as smooth as possible for them.
Itinerary as of now looks like:
Day 0 : reach oslo:
Day 1 : ?
Day 2: ?
Day 3/4: back to Oslo.

Now as I have read, for the Fjord trip, one can have a night stay in Flam.
But can anyone please help me with a detailed itinerary how this can be done?

Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Roy

Look up (google) "Norway in a Nutshell" this is a bunch of tickets that will take them Oslo-Flåm-Bergen and back seeing a fjord on route. The package exist in soem varieties.
They can JUST fit it into the limited time scheduled as I read it.

April is a low-season in most of turisty-Norway, I'm sorry to say. However, I would recommend flying from Oslo to Bergen (try norwegian.no, sas.no, wideroe.no), or the train if you're really interested in the scenery (but it takes 8 hours or so). From Bergen you might be able to find cruises or such, even in the low season.

I agree with Bjoern that Norway in a Nutshell (www.norwaynutshell.com) is the answer. Perhaps they could do Norway in a Nutshell through to Bergen (i.e. one way) and then fly back to Oslo to save time?
