I have 2 weeks in Norway in Mid feb with a 2 year old and the research on the transport has me worried especially about the bus journeys. (I wouldn't be able to drive either so that option is out)

I fly into and out of Oslo and was hoping to do the Oslo-Flam-Bergen route and atleast one fjord, Tromso if I find how to manage it given the constraints with a child

The hurtigruten is an option but Im not sure I want to do a journey longer than 3 days on it so any recommendations on which part of the journey would be good for the fjords, (some wildlife- read about possible whales in Kristiansund)

Or would even a 3 day Hurtigruten get cumbersome with a young child? (he is adventurous though!)

I would also like to maximize my chances (since I know how much part weather and luck play in this since Ive been to finland recently) so would it be better to take the Hurtigruten from Tromso to Kirkenes and do the fjords some other way by shorter cruises?

I do not mind taking a couple of flights for convenience...
