I'm about to book a trip to Iceland in November, just looking at a few posts and worried that this might be a bad idea. Any thoughts would be most welcome!

Does somebody have recommendation about place for camping and day hiking/trekking?
We will visit Iceland from 5th to 21st August. And I will go around Iceland by rental car ( not 4x4).

I would like to enjoy day hiking/trekking from campgrounds. I already found some nice campgrounds as below.

Hi. Does anyone have any suggestions for an 8 hour layover in Keflavik Airport, en route from the United States to France? This is for my 20 year old daughter, who will be travelling by herself. It's two separate flights, so I think she has to get her bags and then check them again (she'll ask when she checks in for the first flight).

Hello, I've finally managed to convince my other half to go to Iceland! I have done a lot of reading but want to make sure I get all the advice I can get to make the most of this trip! We want to do around 4 nights (as it is quite pricey I hear?) and thinking maybe March might be a good time? Just wandering, if you had an option to do a day tour by bus to either Askja caldera (from Myvatn) or to Thorsmörk or Landmannalaugar (from Hella), which would you choose? And why?
The trip would happen in August, if that affects your opinion.
Superjeep tour is not an option because of budget reasons.

The scenery is really pulling us towards Iceland for a trip this august, but we have three kids aged 1-5. Are there any places to stay that have pools or springs associated with them that would make a good home base? How long does it take to drive around the country? The distances can't be huge, right? am going to Iceland on Wednesday for a photography job, have to shoot nice landscape pics. Planned rough route in Southern area is:

Kerlingarfjöll, Gullfoss, Gorge Gjain with waterfall Haifoss, Landmannalaugar, Glacier Jokulsarlon, Reynisdrangarm, Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss.

In total will spent there 8 days.

As it is my first trip to Iceland ever I could use any recommendations regarding those locations? Additional locations? Tips about Iceland?
