Hello,
my friend and I will be heading to Iceland for 2 weeks and made a plan to visit the West Fjords area between 19th-22th September or so. I've been trying to find information for Hornstrandir in mid-sept but it doesn't seem like there's much on the internet.
Would it be possible to hike Hornstrandir for a day or two between 19-22th? We're very interested in seeing the Hornbjarg Bird Cliffs. Does anyone have a recommendation for tour operators that operate in mid-sept to that area or is it possible to do it ourselves or would the weather be unkind during that period?
Also, in general, would west fjords be recommended in mid sept? There doesn't seem to be much info, if anyone could enlighten me I'd be grateful!
We're looking to visit the Dynandi falls, Latrabjarg cliffs in Sept, is it worth going to West fjords then? Any other recommendations would be appreciated as well :)
Thanks in advance!
