Hi all,

I am planning my first holiday alone next year, to Iceland. I'm planning on a week stay in Reykjavik as I have a friend there, could anyone suggest how much I should put by for the holiday? Accounting for possible car hire to get out of the city, some eating out etc. Previously I have always gone away with family, so am feeling a little lost planning things.

Lisa

I guess the trick is to stuff a large bag with as much money and credit cards as possible and hope that the scandalously-high prices don't cause you to go broke after only a couple of days or so.

Thanks, that looks to be a handy page, I've bookmarked it for reference :-)
