Hey! Very short notice but I'm going to be landing in Reykjavik around 0600 on Sunday (July 31st ) and I packed my spare camera batteries in my checked baggage which it turns out will be going directly to my final destination. I'm only going to be in the city for like twelve hours but I'm trying to get another battery if I can. I need an LP-E8 for my canon and I was wondering if anyone knows of any camera or electronic shops open on Sunday that might carry them, hopefully in an easily accessible area. I saw Reykjavik Foto is right in the city but it's closed Sundays. I don't expect I'll be able to find any in Keflavik airport. If anyone has any ideas where I might find them it'd be hugely appreciated!

Well, hopefully you were able to pick up batteries at the ELKO store at the airport - if not then their store located here has them, they open at 12.

These are not Canon batteries but Energizer ones - but they are cheap and should suffice, being LP-E8s ...

Specialty stores tend to be closed on weekends.
