I will be arriving on Iceland Express at Keflavik airport and fly out on Atlantic Airways to the Faroes from the Reykjavik City "domestic' airport. Is there any duty free at Reykjavik airport or I need to stock out some upon arrival at Keflavik airport?

Thanks

there is a small duty free store at Reykjavik (domestic airport), for those travelling to/from the Faroes and Greenland.

I have just come back from Iceland. The duty free shop is very much smaller but the prices are cheaper than the duty free on arrival at Keflavik Airport. Even the key chains are cheaper than the retail shops downtown.

For those who are claiming the tax refund, the duty free shop is the one that gives you the 'refund' but you have to used that refund voucher by shopping at the duty free shop. No cash refund.

Also, use up all ISK or change it at money changer (no money changer at Rekjavik City airport) before leaving Iceland as ISK is not accepted outside of Iceland since the banking crisis in 2008
