Hello fellow travelers,
I am looking into some of the pre-arranged driving tours that are offered in Iceland for my father and I (e.g., like these from icelandadventure.com). These tours typically provide you with a car, lodgind, breakfast, and an itinerary. Seems like a nice option to explore the country but on your own time. Does anyone have any experience with these kinds of tours? Are they worth the money? Have you found that had ample time to see things and explore (I'm looking to spend apx 10 days on the tour)? Is there a particular outfitter you could recommend?
