Hello!

I'll be in Iceland starting on August 2nd, and I'm thinking about heading over to Grimsey to camp for a few days. I've heard there are specific sites, but I've also heard it's fine if I just camp "discreetly". So what's the deal with camping there? Any information, regarding the sites as well, would be hugely appreciated.

Hi, I really don't know much about this but I'm answering anyway :)
It is a tiny island, just ask the locals where you can camp. You don't need more than a day to explore the whole island on foot. I would not spend many days there, much more to see in Iceland.
