Will be in Iceland in mid September, will be traveling Rt1 VIA camper. My question is... Are there places along the way that will allow you to use their shower facility's only. Thanks, I appreciate your feedback.

Most towns have public swimming pools where, for the price of admission, you can take a shower. Bring your swimming gear and you can also soak in the hot tubs (of which there are invariably a few) to get rid of the September chill :-)

Hi all!
I'm packing for Iceland and not sure if I'll need hiking boots or can I get by with just my tennis shoes. Will be there for a 12 day road trip, will be traveling the ring road.

Thanks for the info.

You won't need boost unless you go hiking, although some attractions may have primitive paths, but you will appreciate warmer and more sturdy shoes than tennis shoes.

Thank you for the useful advice. I've decided to bring my boots. See you in 2 days.
