Hello! I'm in the very early stages of planning a 3-4 week trip this summer (July/August). I've got a decent amount of travel experience, including living in both Prague and Krakow, etc. (I'm female, Canadian, 27 at time of trip.)
As I've already seen most of Western Europe, I'd like to see more of Eastern Europe. I'm mostly interested (right now) in the south-east part.
I was thinking:
Croatia
Bosnia and Herzegovinia
Serbia/Montenegro
Bulgaria
Romania
Possibly Hungary

Hello there!
We have moved to Istanbul in Jan for 6 months and are thinking about exploring outside of the city this weekend (Fri-Sun). We have a car so we are fairly flexible. We would like to explore life outside of the big city, hopefully do some photography, walk around etc. Does anyone have some suggestions to consider when planning this 3-day weekend? Our limit is probably about 4-5 hours of driving each way.
So far this site has been awesome and we appreciate any feedback/ideas that youā¦
Hello,
My football team have chosen Tallinn as our destination this coming June. We therefore need to find a team to play against while we're there.
Does anyone know how to help me find a team in Tallinn who may be up for the challenge? We're not of a high standard, just a bunch of 25-40 year olds who enjoy a social and a kick-about.
Many thanks!

Awhile ago a friend of mine decribed eating something delicious in Turkey that he said was a bit like pizza (I don't think it was actually called pizza). Any idea what he was talkign about and what would be the best place to try it in Istanbul?
If we are in west Cyprus is it possible to spend same days in the other part of the island?
Has anyone been to the Istanbul International Film Festival? I noticed it will be on while I'm in Istanbul over Easter and was wondering if it is worth checking out. Would I have to buy tickets in advance? I'm guessing the films will either be in Turkish or subtitled in Turkish so I would only be able to see something that was originally in English?
traveling from vienna to istanbul and not willing to travel overnight , which stops for an overnight stay are recommanded on this route ( max. 3 ) and why ?
and have you got any accomodation info around 50 euro at those stops ?

I may have a Flight to Kaliningrad
main stop on the way:

I know it's a short travel but I'm not a backpacker anymore..sigh! I have a family now! :-))
