Hi folks,

I will fly to Georgia by the end of the month.

Can somebody please share his/her experience in how to get to both Borjomi and Davit Gareja by public transport?

From which station in Tbilisi, which means of transportation, how much and how long?

Can somebody recommend a hotel or homestay in Borjomi where I can stay for one night?

I've learned that the overnight train to Baku starts in TBS around 6:30 p.m. and will be at the border line aabout one hour later.
Did somebody take this train and…

Planning to spend holiday in Czech, mostly in Prague and would like to spend a night in Cesky Krumlov

Questions...

Normal bus prices: Prague->Cesky Krumlov (one way, and return)

Still not sure if i am definitely going to Cesky Krumlov, so do I 100% need to book bus ticket in advance, or just buying few days ahead? (travelling to and from Cesky Krumlov in mid week in April)

One night is enough for Cesky Krumlov?

Thansk in advance, you all

We want to fly from Istanbul to Cappadocia area and from there to Ephesus area. Which airline do you recommend? It seems as though the closest airports are Kaysuri and Izmir. We will be there mid April, can we purchase the tickets in Istanbul or should be book online before arriving? thank you.

In a few months, my husband and I will be in Russia and we will have a couple of weeks to visit one more place before we have to fly home. Our original hope was to see several countries in Eastern Europe, but unfortunately, that will not be possible because of work commitments. Since the environment is constantly changing around this region and countries are entering or preparing to enter the EU, we were curious as to which country we should visit now. Geographical proximity is not really an…

Packing light

Hi. Having mostly backpacked in SEA and India and used to travelly really light - 8-10 kg max, I haven't a clue of what type of clothes etc to take for backpacking one month. We will be in Germany - Munich - 5 days (my daughter is on business here, I am not), Italy - 2 weeks, Czech Republic - 1 week. We are travelling mostly by train.

I'd appreciate any packing suggestions from experienced European backpackers on essentials and travelling light. I figure that what I save on precautionary meds…

Hi Everyone
I'm planning my first trip to Turkey for the end of April. So far, the cheapest airfare I've found is flying a major carrier to Berlin ($800 rt is the cheapest thing I've found so far) and then EasyJet one-way to Istanbul. Does anyone have any extra special secret methods for getting a round-trip to Europe any cheaper than that? Thanks!! I can't wait to check out the hamams you all suggested!

Dear fellow travellers.

I have kind of already decided my itinerary around Croatia for 8 days but I do need some advice on lodging: any kind of recommendation on hotels, villas, apartments or hostels.

We are on a tight budget so we dont want to spend too much money on accomodation.

I need some advice on the following cities:
1. Zagreb.
2. Rovinj.
3. Zadar (maybe).
4. Split.
5. Dubrovnik.
6. Sarajevo.

Any good Croation webiste about hotels? Any recommendation?

Thanks a lot.

I will cross Turkey from Iraq to Georgia. No guide books, little knowledge (have heard about lake Van only) so I am dependent on your opinions. What are the highlights of the eastern and northern Turkey?

Is the weather still too bad to discover this part of the country? Is there heating in the budget hotels?
