Hi all,

I'm planning on spending 5 - 6 wks as a solo female exploring Eastern Europe in July and August. I'm open to hiring a car or else using public transport. I'm thinking of travelling to Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Serbia - possibly more of some of these countries and less of others. I'm into day hiking, cultural sightseeing and history. I've no interest in lying on a beach or partying. I prefer to spend quality time in places rather than try get to too many stops. I'd probably look at…

Hello everyone

My family is planning a trip from LA to Zagreb - Plitvice National Park or Krka National Park - Split - Hvar - Dubrovnik from May 22 to June 2. I wanted to ask about weather during that time and see if it'll be too cold especially to go into the water as we do want some beach time. I personally get colder than most and in LA need a good 82 degree Fahrenheit to enjoy the beach (hard to go into the Pacific anytime though!). Is the water freezing in Croatia? We would like to go in…

I'm driving from Stepankert to Tbilisi and I'm wondering where to plan to stop for the night.

Planning to stop off at Gandzasar and Dadivank monasteries on the way so that will add some time. Google shows about 284 Km and just under five hours to Sevan. Then 239 km to Tbilisi. I'd like to stop off at some of the Debed monasteries along the road there. I don't need much time at the monasteries just to walk around a bit. Is this a reasonable itinerary, I know in most CIS countries the…

Hi everyone,

I am planning a 6 day trip to Ukraine this summer. I know that this isn't that much time but that is all I can spare at the moment.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I plan to go on a tour to Chernobyl which will be one of those days and probably 2 full days in Kiev. Does anyone have any recommendations for the other 3 days? Would it be worth it to fly into Lviv in the evening, spend a full day there and then fly to Kiev in the morning or would it be better to go somewhere…

Hi all!
I'm looking to go from Dubrovnik to Budapest in a relatively cheap but also quick way. I saw on somewhere that you could take a flight from Dubrovnik to Zagreb and then take a bus from Zagreb to Budapest. I was wondering if anyone has done this before if they could point me in the right direction of how to do it and also how easy it is to take the bus from Zagreb to Budapest.
Thanks!

Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to share your input on transport options between destinations for this itinerary:

Istanbul- Zongulak- Safranbolu -Sinop -Amasya- Cappadocia -Konya - Antalya -Oludeniz -Fethiye -Marmaris- Selcuk(Ephesus) -Pamukkale -Izmir -Istanbul

Also for this itinerary how much money would you need?

Thanks again!
