Hi everyone,

The current LP Turkey book does not have schedules for these routes but I wanted to make sure that I can get from Kars to Erzurum on dolmus/a bus and likewise from Erzurum to Trabzon. How long do you think each trip would roughly take? Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
We are a family of 3 planning to visit Romania and Moldova from April 18th to May 4th. We will fly in and out of Bucharest. We will rent a car (I have secured insurance to cross the border with the car). I have booked our Bucharest lodging.
I feel like I have a pretty good handle on our general route (Bucharest, Sinaia, Brasov, Sibiu, Sighisoara, Baia Mare, Gura Humorului, Iasi, Chisinau) but my questions are:
1) How important is it to pre-book lodging due to the Easter holiday (normally…

Hi everyone,
tomorrow I will move from Kutaisi to Mestia in Svaneti region for some days. I have almost more 12 days to spend here in Georgia and I appreciate some advice about new places to visit. This isn't my first time in Georgia and I was been before in Batumi, Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Gori, Kazbegi. I looking for places far from the touristic routes where is possible to meet traditional life. I'm not really interested in trekking or any kind of sports, just I'm focus on photography. Thank you…

Hello

I am in Saint Petersburg and will head to Lahemaa National Park on Tuesday. Checking Rome2Rio, I only found lots of connecting buses, taking a whole day for this trip. Has somebody done this trip? Should I go all the way to Tallinn and get another bus from there? I find it stupid to backtrack though. What do you think?

Thank you.

Hi all.We are three people currently travelling in Iraki kurdistan. We have our flight back home from Istambul, and we are planning to cross to Turkey by land .
We have read about buses bron Doruk to Diyarbakir and Mardin.
Any update information about the transport and border crossing would be apreciated. Has anyone recently used this border crossing? If so, how it was ?
If anyone has recent experience with this border crossing, please let me know how it was.
Thanks a lot

Hello all

Im going to Budapest last week In June. And am considering whether to book accomodation outside of Budapest half of the time, to see something else and not end up on rushed daytrips.

I’d like to go somewhere local and less touristic or just where nature is worth it. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I’m also looking to check out the lesser commercial part of Budapest and interesting things to see and do apart from spas.

Thanks a million

1) Are there ATMs in Turkey that allow you to withdraw in Euros?
If yes, will they be present in the non big cities like Fethiye/Kas/Goreme as well?

2) Planning on withdrawing in euros and then exchanging at currency centres to minimize exchange loss. Good idea? My credit card does not offer an attractive exchange rate.

3) Which offers better rates: Dollars or Euros? Getting both is the same effort for me (travelling from India and our rupees don't go well there)
