Is the Rose Festival in Kazanlak, Bulgaria worth going over the weekend? Are there other things to do during that time, like visit the rosr museum.

Is it best to stay in Sofia and then travel by car to Kazalank?

We will be in Hungary Aug 18 - 28. The first five nights we will be in Budapest. I would like to hear where others would recommend to go for the second five nights. We have to be in Split, Croatia on Aug 29th. We prefer to get to know places a bit more than 2-3 nights allow. What region or town would you recommend? We try to use public transportation as much as possible but are open to renting a car for short periods of time. Thanks.

This June I am going to travel from Ukraine to Belarus by bus or train, I will stay 3-4 days and then I'll fly from Minsk-Belarus to Greece (I am a Greek citizen) by plane . Is it this possible or I need any extra visa permission because my entrance point will be different to my check out point? I show that this June I can get a free visa for watching the European games but is this enough if my check in and check out point is different?

Having done a google and forum search, i cant seem to find a direct bus from Kato Paphos (or old town) to Larnaca Airport. i understand i can go direct from Paphos Intl to Larnanca Airport.

Before i go ahead and book a private transfer just wondered on the off chance if anyone knew the name of the company that does offer direct buses (if once exisits).

Myself and my husband (late 30's) are flying to Thessaloniki on 1st July. We hope to spend 3 weeks touring Greece and Albania. We're at very early stages of planning and looking for advice on itinerary. We have no flight booked home to Ireland yet so it's open where that will be from. We'd like to see nice beaches of course and some of the historical sights. We'll probably hire a car in Albania. We are planning the trip for 3 days at the end of June (weekend trip) and choosing between these 5 options: Vienna or Riga or Vilnius or Frankfurt or Bratislava (without moving from one point to another).
We are four 27-years girls, not very much into art or museums. We like walking trips, investigating cities, some interesting activities, historical places, architecture, maybe interesting clubs or bars.

What city do you think should we choose? Any advice is appreciated. :)
