My roommate and I in Zaporozhye have a three day weekend next week and we're planning to go to Yalta or Sevastopol. Any advice as to which is better? We only have a few days. Hostel recommendations welcome.

Hi;

Crimea doesn't have hostels in low-season (till may) where some open, check tiuhostels.com, anyway I would say to you that the climate it's not the most perfect. Also check Sudak, a bit further than Yalta but much more interesting.

Sevastopol you can access the museums about soviet army, but don't know exactly how they decided to work now in winter time. Yalta has good hills for hiking and nice views, as well as Sudak, but Sudak counts with better beach, landscape and ruins.

Surely, it is not a high season in Crimea now. You could taste Massandra wines in Yalta. In Sebastopol too.
