Hello. I will be traveling from Russia into Ukraine on a British passport. Will i need a visa? If so can i get one a the boarder? Thank you

No visa required...you'll be given a migration card at the border which you need to hang onto in case they ask for it on the way out but no other formalities...

You need a visa for Russia, of course, but not Ukraine on an EU passport, provided you are not staying more than 90 days.

No problems for Ukraine now. It's less impressive in the passport without the full page stamp, but i'm sure you'll live.
