Hi Guys,

I have a different question but it would follow under the same heading.

I will be travelling nearby Ukraine and would like to enter for less than 5 days, but more than 24 hours.

I am an Australian Passport holder.

the embassy site speaks of

TYPES OF VISA TO UKRAINE

1) TRANSIT VISA (type B) – can be issued to foreigner and stateless person in case of transit through the territory of Ukraine to a third country, as well as for transit of cargo and passengers by road.
Transit visa is issued as single entry, two entry and multiple entry for the period of time that stated in supporting documents. Duration of transit visa should not exceed one year unless otherwise stipulated by International Agreements of Ukraine.
Duration of every transit through the territory of Ukraine with transit visa should not exceed five days.
The base for the granting transit visa is one of the following documents:
- a document proving the transit nature of the trip (visa to a third country, ticket, etc.);
- a document proving the transit nature of transportation of goods and passengers by road;
- a license for performance of the international transportation activities issued by the competent authorities in a country of residence.

has anyone been given one of these transit visas?

Does this mean if i have a flight in and a train out of Ukraine booked that i would be able to get a 5 day visa on Arrival?

if so what documentation would i need?

I would rather not go through the visa application process...
