The politicians represent this country very bad.
I blame them in this chaos.
The tourism industry in Lviv has suffered a lot of damage from this total disinformation about flue.
What do you think if the Poland is just a few kilometers from Lvivs region and there is noise there about flues , but here , they made so much noise and massive psychoses that in my opinion its just lawless.
I think if there would be proper medical and law investigations , that the people who made this noise must be brought to the responsibility. Because they made a great damage to the tourism business and not only tourism business but to many other activities.
This noise about flue has to do with political intrigues and has nothing to do with reality.
Flue always take place in this time of the year and areas , but to make the mass psychosis and to make the western medias to deliver the information of the ame nature , I just have no words !
Unfortunately , none of the politicians who forced this psychosis will not be responsible for what they have done.
I personally guess why they did it , but it has to do with local political situation and atmosphere , so its a long story.
The only thing I regret that Lviv , which in another fields of activity tries to represent Ukraine in its best , just was the bitter victim of disinformation which so severely damaged Lvivs tourism.

For travellers, who are not scared to travel in Ukraine during this period will definitely have discount for apartments' rent! It is from positive side. On the other hand, the one who is travelling won't have the opporunity to enjoy going out to opera/cinema/theatre/pefrormences cause all public events are closed. Still a lot of people are ill with flu (usual or swine), schools and uiversities are also closed. Hope we will overcome this, cause I am fed up with that panic!

And last few days I visited 3 cities.
Now , the people who wear mask , draw only sympathy and jokes.
On Monday all students and school kids have to go to schools
even in Lviv
The night life is alive , bars , pubs .
Plenty of young people on the street.
And I am sure this Saturday when Ukraine will play with Greece , there will be more people on the street to watch the football than before.
It is true about the prices for accommodation.
Well there are very good deals in the hostels , but the hotels still keep the prices normal.
Last year there was worst statistics with a flu , but there was not so much noise .
I personally regret only about one thing.
Why there is no precise control and examination of cloudy statistics .
Why there was silence for a time and suddenly in one day all media channels in one voice started to make this noise.
Why the tourism industry should suffer because of iresponsible behaviour of our politicians and media.
May be later , if there will be encouragement for these examinations will shall find out more about disinformation.
I really wish it to happen.
Because I am more than sure that the passed noise and panic has nothing to do with reality,
and the noise is very costly and damaging .
Some markets had been opened already , young people will go to schools.
I tell you , I personally look with humour at the people who walk in the mask.
Every body at this time of the year should take all possible measure of not to get flu , not only in Ukraine , just because it is the time when flu happens.
But , why the tourists should be scared ?
Any way , some tourists already coming to Lviv and another cities , also hotels and hostels get a lot of bookings for the New year period.
The things are getting normal.

And I love it how politically incorrect they still are also in advertising, recently I saw a sofa being advertised with two topless ladies on it having some sort of lesbian sex on a huge poster on a major road.
They dress very provokatively , that is the reason they look sexy even during Ukrainian winter.

I don't know WHO is lying. Information is really incomplete. This is just 20 victims. No one knows if this is spreading or contained. I understand that Ukraine wouldn't want to scare off tourist right now, but this is scary. The media cover up isn't helping. There is NO reports yet on major U.S. outlets. There were reports of planes spraying over Ukraine last week. And if you get a chance, check out the videos about Dr. Moshe, a supposed Israeli Bioweapon scientist, who was arrested and disappeared after calling into a U.S. talk radio show 3 months ago to try and warn about a bioweapon attack on the Ukraine in a couple months. I don't really know what is going on; I'm not sure if anyone does. But I wouldn't take media reports as accurate until the situation there stabalizes and people stop dying choking on their own blood. Doctors learned why Ukrainians dying!

All victims of the virus in Bukovyna (22 people at the age of 20-40) died not from bilateral pneumonia, as was previously thought, but as a result of viral distress syndrome, i.e the total destruction of the lungs.
At first the cardio-pulmonary insufficiency comes, and consequently cardiogenic shock is developed, which causes cardiac standstill and death, told the chief of bureau of the Chernivtsi regional forensic examination, doctor of science, Professor Viktor Bachynsky, UNIAN reports.
"During a bilateral pneumonia some morphological picture is observed. As of data of deaths, there is no such morphological picture. The virus, which causes death, is very aggressive, it does not strike the trachea, but immediately gets into the lungs and causes heavy swelling and solid hemorrhage. Mixed types of parainfluenza and influenza A/N1N1 lead to this state. This is a very toxic strain, which has not yet answered to the treatment of the Ministry of Health", - said Viktor Bachinsky.
According to him, there is a need to change the treatment standards, because those which were used earlier, resulted in nothing – doctors failed to save all people infected with the virus in the reanimation. The belt ventilators did not help also.
For this reason a group of professors of Chernivtsi Medical University appealed to the Ministry of Health and National Security and Defense Council with a demand to review the standards of treatment of patients in Bukovyna. Scientists-morphologists sent to Kyiv reports, studies and analysis of critically ill patients and people who died of virus.
Viktor Bachinsky noted that the virus is extremely toxic, it is able to penetrate not only through respiratory apparatus but also through the eyes. Chernovtsy scientists recommend in any case use masks and even wear protective spectacles. An important condition to prevent deterioration of the situation is also the observance of quarantine regime.
