We start from Estonia 08.06 (arriving Lviv in 09.06) we have tickets for the match in Lviv 13.06

and 15.06 in Kiev. 09.06.-13.06 we just look around in Carpathian or make the trip to Odessa. After the Kiev match we start driving home.

what would be the best option:
  1. driving our own car to Ukraine, leave it somewhere in the guarded parking house or lot, and travel by nighttrains to avoid the problems with accomodation. For example Lviv-Odessa-Lviv by train?

  2. driving the car also in Ukraine, which means we have to find accomodation but not in the "match-cities" but we can drive 50-100km for the accomodation

  3. to rent a camper-van which could solve the problems of transportation and accomodation at the same time.
The problem is that it is quite expensive and many don't want to rent camper if it is taken to Ukraine . The main reason is the bad condition of roads.

You'll avoid the problems with accomodation, but you will get another problem: buying a ticket for the train. Normally in summer it is not easy to buy tickets for trains in Ukraine because they are full, and now with the EURO 2012, i think it will be the same (or even more difficult).

2. driving the car also in Ukraine, which means we have to find accomodation but not in the "match-cities" but we can drive 50-100km for the accomodation
Sounds better. The accomodation in the match-cities will be very expensive and pretty full, but if you have a car, you can get a hotel somewhere else, for example in a smaller village.

Renting a camper van would be nice, except for the problem you allready mentioned :)

Good luck and have a good time!

I don't think any rental company will allow you to take a campervan into Ukraine, if they do you will need to show documentation at the border that you have permission to drive the vehicle in Ukrainian and notarised.

Welcome to Poland! It's safe and convinient for travellers, especially Wraclaw - beautiful city and a lot of to do :) like concerts, events, clubs. Better to come a couple of days earlier - for example: 2d June - pop music festival - discotex )) for everyone who'd like to have real fun :)
