Any tips about how to find the gay and lesbian scene in Ukraine? Is it mostly an expat scene or is it possible to meet Queer Ukrainians as well? How safe is it? How affected is the situation by what is happening in Russia? Is anyone going to Gay Pride? Any tips, insights, info would be very much appreciated!

No personal experience, but Ukraine is generally more tolerant than Russia of minorities, both ethnic groups and LGBT community. In your pocket has a chapter:

Open gay and lesbianess is unheard of in Ukraine. Gay clubs are hidden away and people are quite intolerant against it, as AndrewSmith says try inyourpocket for an uptodate list.
Keep also in mind that AIDS infection rates are the highest in Europe in Ukraine.
Hi ,
you can go in the nightclub POMADA it's in the heart of Kiev. It's a good gay club. There is another gay club not far from this place but I don't remenber the name of this other club situated on KHrechatik street.
