Hello.
Does anyone know how possible it is to go from the Romanian Black Sea coast to either Izmail or Vylkove in Ukraine via public transport? Are there direct buses linking Romania to either of those cities?

If it's any good,Albatur do a bus from Varna BG to Odessa that calls in at Constanta and goes through Bolgrad UKR.From there I believe that you can take a bus coming from Kishinev that goes to Izmayl.The Albatur bus runs 2 or 3 times a week.

There's no direct transport from Romania to these cities.
Use the bus mentioned by Chaika from Constanta to Bolhrad (I think it runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) then from Bolhrad there are several buses per day to Izmail (at 6.30AM, 9AM, 11AM, 1PM, 3PM, 5PM, ~10PM).

Thanks for the information guys. I will probably just catch the bus from Varna and take it to Bolhrad. I actually want to get to Vylkove really, but that should not be too difficult from Bolhrad, I wouldn't think. Any sense of how long it should take to get from Varna to Bolhrad, or roughly what time of day (or night) the bus passes though Bolhrad??
