An e-reader's one of those and held elcroinc gizmos you read books on, right?
Yes they work anywhere. You'll need a regular European to US outlet adaptor for the recharger.
Only problem is all your books wil appear in Ukrainian

Rubbish. Books will show in whatever language they are written in. However PocketBook is actually a ukrainian device (I just purchased one) - seems to be a lovely little machine, or at least it will be once I figure out how to get my Lonely Planet chapters to show up on it. Other books are perfect. In various different languages (so the ukrainian free books they provided are still showing up in ukrainian and the english ones in english). I guess the guy above was just having a joke.

Sorry, yes it was not a serious suggestion that these devices detect your location and somehow translate your book into the local language. Apologies to anyone who didn't see the joke.
