Hello fellow travelers !

A couple of months ago I booked a tour in Turkey with departure in June. The departure point was Kas, about midway between Dalaman and Antalya airports. As flying to Antalya was much cheaper I booked my ticket to that city.
Last week I got a call from the travel agency : the departure point has changed and now I have to join the tour in Fethiye (which is much closer to Dalaman airport).
What is the easiest/best/cheapest way to get from Antalya to Fethiye ? Are there buses…

Does anyone have any input on how concerned I should be about my safety in light of the recent bombings and threats about Mid-May marking the start of a series of terrorist attacks on the Western and Southwest coasts of Turkey?
Is anyone else reconsidering their trip?
Is being on a gulet a better bet?

In Sept I will be taking the train from Istanbul to Diyarbakir which takes two nights and one day.

The TCDD website states there is no restaurant car on this train.

What do you eat and drink for that time?

Do you have to bring food and drink with you?
Does the guard sell food and drink to you?
Are the station stops long enough to buy food at the platform- although it seems the only lengthy stop is at Ankara?

PS- No, I do not want to take the bus as buses do not have sleeper compartments.

Im going to be in Gumbet, near Bodrum for about 2 week in June/July, with a big group of friends. As I have an interest in wildlife, was just wondering if there might be anywhere suitable in that area to visit for a day or 2? Lakes/parks/nature reserves? Would really like to see sea turtles too - there are supposed to be 17 nesting beaches along Turkeys coast - are there any near there and is this the season? How about SCUBA diving - any good around there?

Would appreciate any advice.

We are planning to do a cabin charter for one week in July, but have a few concerns. We are a family of four with two boys (ages 6 and 11) and would like to be on a family friendly trip. We also want to sail a bit, and not only use the diesel engine for travel.
Any like minded folks out there who would like to charter a boat with us for a week?
Our first choice is probably Antalya, but I'm open to Marmaris or Bodrum. In the end we would like to end up near Cirali.
I'd also like recommendations…

I will be doing business in Izmir for a couple days and have 8 days free afterwards. My plan is to to spend 4 or 5 days in Turkey and the rest on a Greek island. I have the time in Turkey mapped out ( Izmir, Sardis, Pergamon) . My options for Greece are (a) head to Cesme and take a ferry to Chios or (b)bus it to Ayvalik and go to Lesvos.

What is the better option for someone travelling solo who wants to hike , take photos, and swim? Any recommendations for places to eat or stay ( $…

I'm planning a +/- 10 days trip to Turkey with my (pregnant!!!!) girlfriend. We want to take it easy on a gulet cruise, yet we'd like to have an idea of which route would be the most "cultural", or have a lot of things to discover (ruins, fishing villages, etc.). Any suggestions? (we're planning to stay 5-7 days or so on the boat).

But most important, we have the option to land in either Antalya or Doloman airports (and depart from either, not necessarely the same we arrived from...)…
