I am in Tatvan and will be heading back west towards Mount Nemrut on Thursday. LP9 does not have anything to say about Mus or Bingol. Are either of these places worth a stopover? Are there any other places between Tatvan and Nemrut of the heads that are worth visiting? I don't want to go the southern route as I was in Diyarbakir a few months ago. I'm a bit ruined out and I'm looking for good scenery or a laid back place with a good cay bahcesi.

I cannot say about the scenery but Ahlat Cemetery in Ahlat is very interesting although it is few kms north of Tatvan.

It's not direct but I found Elazig (and next to it Harput - with a çay bahcesi! next to the castle) worth a visit. Have you been to Batman/Hasankeyf already? And how about Mardin?

I`m staying in the Dilek Hotel for 25YTL.

I did Batman/Hasankeyf/Mardin at the same time as Diyarbakýr.

I think I´ll go to Bingol and if it´s no good move on to Elazýg.
