buongiorno everybody

i wil take the train to aleppo that only leaves one time a week. so i would like to get ticket plus reservation in advance. turkish railway ist all in turkish language so i wouldnt know how to aks them. i will take it from istanbul or from afyon.

does somebody know a reliable travel agency or railway office where i can book in advance by phone in istanbul or afyon? and maybe an idea about the fees?

Thje TCDD sie only sells domestic tickets, not this ticket to Aleppo.

Contact Tur-ISTA travel agency in Istanbul, their contact details are on www.seat61.com/Syria.htm</a>. I've used them myself, they were very good. You can pick up tickets at their office in Sultanahment, just along from the Pudding Shop (a great cheap restaurant, with a bit of history itself, by the way!)

Not much, but can't remember how much. Maybe a £29 became £39 but I wasn't bothered at that price for 1,000 miles and a bed!
