Hi,

I'm trying to decide which rooftop bar to go to on our first night in Turkey and was hoping for some advice. We will be heading out to one on a Sunday so hopefully it won't be too crazy crowded. It looks like a lot of them are mostly tables for dining, but we were wondering if there were any that you could recommend that had more of a relaxed vibe, informal vibe, like couches or comfortable chairs or things for people who don't plan on having dinner at all but just want to relax, check out the view, and have a drink or two.

I was also wondering if it would be too cold to visit the roof in the evening. We are going next week and know it will be kind of chilly outside in the evenings. Do most places have heat lamps, or are the bars moved inside in the cooler months. Finally, has anyone been to Mama Shelter and is it worth it to go - decent view, cool scene etc? I've also heard that the Balkon Bar was laid back and relaxed, would you recommend this place for what we are looking for?

Thank you so much!

Liz
