One-two days in Yusufeli or Barhal

Hi all!
I am currently planning a trip around North-East of Turkey. I read a lot of nice things about Kackar mountains and though they were not originally on my itinerary, I now want to add a day or two to visit Yusufeli and Barhal. Unfortunately I do not have time for a several days hike but I would love to do a day hike or join a one-day rafting trip from Yusufeli. Is it easy to organize on the spot or not? Is there any particular nice one day hike from either Yusufeli or Barhal which you would recommend doing?

i found out that the comunication is difficult in this part unless you talk some turkish!
but kackar is worth travelling - i have been for 8 days hikking in this wonderfull mountain
