Following Trudy63's post about the hotels she stayed in I thought I would do the same for my trip from Olimpos to the south east as I found her post interesting. I have listed them in chronological order. I stayed in these places in April and May 2007 so prices are current but may have changed due to the season. I am now back in Saban and will post details of my next trip later in the year.

#Not in LP 9th Ed.

No star - Would not use again 3
- Passable 2
- Good 2
- Excellent 7

Olimpos - Saban Pansiyon - Best atmosphere, best food and best value in the valley. 30YTL for a bungalow with good en-suite, a big breakfast and a superb buffet dinner.

Antalya - Sabah Pansiyon - OK but nothing startling. Standard breakfast and en-suite room for 30YTL.

Side - Pettino's Pansiyon - No hot water or water pressure and overpriced at 35YTL for an en-suite with average breakfast. Changed from LP 9th Ed - no internet and the manager didn't.

Tasucu - Meltem Pansiyon - Very nice pansiyon. 30 YTL for an en-suite room with balcony that also has a fridge and sink. Price included a standard breakfast. Run by a very nice Turkish couple with a superb location across a path from the beach!!!

Adana - # Gumus Hotel across from Akdeniz Hotel - Small en-suite room with standard breakfast for 30YTL.

Antakya - Saray Hotel - Disappointing. En-suite room but luke warm water and no water pressure. Poor breakfast (only 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber) for 30 YTL.

Gaziantep - Yunus Hotel - Excellent value for 30YTL. Good buffet breakfast and lot's of hot water and pressure in the en-suite. **

Sanliurfa - Hospitality Pansiyon - I had no intention of going there but I met Aziz at the otogar so thought I would give it a go. I'm glad I did. It is quite basic - shared rooms and only one shower room including toilet but it's only 25YTL including a slightly different breakfast and dinner. You are sharing Aziz's family home. He has moved from the address in LP 9 but phone is the same. Aziz will take you on trips if required.

Diyarbakir - Birkent Hotel - Excellent value for 30YTL. Good buffet breakfast and lot's of hot water and pressure in the en-suite.

Batman - # Altibasak Hotel, Cumhuriyet Cadessi no 25, 0488 213 9153 - Excellent value for 35YTL. Good buffet breakfast and lot's of hot water and pressure in the en-suite.

Midyat - Demirdag Hotel - 25YTL for en-suite room which wasn't the cleanest, no water presure and a miserly breakfast.

Sanliurfa - Bakay Hotel - Excellent value for 25YTL. Good buffet breakfast and lot's of hot water and pressure in the en-suite.

Halfeti - The only show in town is located above the AKP office next to the bank. It's still being fitted out but I had a comfortable bed and communal shower/toilet for 15YTL. Mobile: 0535 8498172. The hotel listed in LP9, Selaleli Konak, was closed.
but may improve when completed.

Anamur - Eser Pansiyon - Nice pansiyon, good private facilities and breakfast for 20YTL. A very good breakfast was served at a hotel 50m away also owned by the family due to rain preventing breakfast being served on the roof terrace. The owner is very helpful and the pansiyon is about 100 metres from the beach. ***

Since posts here disappear in 2-3 months, a more appropriate place for this information is the LP guidebook updates.

God, amazing... I didn't find a single place under 40YTL, and I thought that was cheap.
