Hello
I want to add a little nature to my archeologically-intense trip to the Kusadasi area. Can anyone tell me about Dilek National Park, how easy is it to find and follow the trails there, are the beaches clean, is the area crowded? If anyone can suggest another natural area near Kusadasi I'd appreciate that, too.
Thanks very much

Thank you very much, Sarikanarya! That is exactly what I needed to know. Have you hiked any of the trails there or explored the park much?

Ohh no I don't 'do'hiking :) just a good walk around my village with the dog is enough for me.But yes I have been to Dilek a couple of times several years ago.It really is a nice place to spend the day.It gets busy at the weekends but even then it is so big that it doesn't feel crowded.During the week it is much quieter as there aren't the locals out there. If you walk the shoreline at all keep an eye out for seals and dolphins around there too.
I also noticed on the first link I gave you there is a map showing the walking routes. It also mentions hiking tours but I am pretty certain you can just go yourself without a guide too.
