Does anyone have advice on the most cost effective way to use a cellphone in Turkey? We could get a loan one from Telecom NZ but the charges /call and txt are very high. I'd be very interested in any suggestions.

hi i'd posted the same question a few days ago and got some useful answers. if u search for my username you'll find the link to the post. what i figured is the best thing to do, is to put your local phone on roaming for the really important calls and for all else buy calling cards in turkey.
