A friend and I are visiting turkey in October 2015, and are considering to do the camp thing. We will be renting a car in Cappadocia and are planning to do a road trip up north to the black sea coast, to the east, down to the south around Gazientep and back to Cappadocia. Is it advisable to consider to camp regarding the availability of camping sites as well as what the weather conditions will be like more to the end of October?

Mornings are quite cold my late October--freezing in the mountains. I've noticed very few campgrounds in Turkey during my travels. There is one beside Sümela Monastery near Trabzon. From what I've read there's no problem camping in rural areas or near the edge of towns.
