Anyone in the Istanbul area should go and see this fantastically beautiful mosque:

It's in Büyükçekmece, a suburb neighbourhood of Istanbul. I haven't been (yet) but it's surely worth a visit.

I am ashamed to admit that I have stayed in Büyükçekmece for one week but never heard of this mosque. Next time I will look for it. If you want to reach the area use the metrobus. It is the most western suburb of Istanbul.
