Can someone in Turkey tell me what the price is to fly from Istanbul to Beirut?
From the US, all I see are fares around 500 USD, rt.
I'd think that they would be cheaper if I bought them in IST.
Can someone confirm that for me?
My RT flight is from the US to IST, but I'd like to hop over in Lebanon for a week or so while I'm in there.
Thanks

What I've done in the past is contact a travel agency on the ground in that particular city. For example, Carlson Wagonlit has offices all over the world, and I'm sure they would have one in Istanbul. Usually they'll have e-mail or phone numbers listed -- contact them, see what the flight cost is, and they can often purchase the ticket for you, and you pick up upon arrival in the city. Then again, maybe it's worth just contacting a local travel agent in your town in the States, which might be able to make arrangements for you here. I've found that the online sites don't always have the cheapest airfare, especially on international flights.
