I'm planning where to go for my honeymoon in Sept for 2 weeks and would like to visit Eastern Europe again. In fact, I've been to Croatia, Poland, Czech, Budapest. We are interested in history, muesum, food and beautiful scenery. Would you guys help me to sort out the following countries: Which one or two are good for honeymoon?
Estonia
Latvia
Lithuania
Belarus
Ukraine
Romania
Moldova
Slovenia

I'm getting crazy for planning my wedding party and home renovation. We are not those beach and sunshine types. For me, i like prague and budapest - those are most romantic places in central europe. Thanks in advance.

I'd say Slovenia. Beautiful nature and towns, hassle-free travelling suitable for a honeymoon. If you liked Prague and Budapest, you'll probably like Ljubljana - much smaller though. On the down side, it is probably the most expensive country on your list, but still cheap by Thorn Tree World standards.

Another vote for Slovenia.

My second pick would be Lithuania - it has one of Europe's most beautiful capital, but Slovenia is scenically more beautiful.

My info & thoughts:
on East-Indonesia.info: Indonesia, Maluku, West Papua, Raja Ampat & Indonesian Visas
on Thorn Tree: Seeing Orangutans, Kalimantan, Kiribati & Tuvalu

Ukraine is very nice, but it requires a lot of advance planning to find reasonably priced accomodation. You definitely won't be happy paying what most hotels there will charge you. I would advise removing Ukraine, Belarus (visa and accomodation hassles) and Moldova (is Europe's poorest country REALLY where you want to go for your honeymoon?) from your list. There are no budget flights to any of those countries either.
