Hello I am off to Krawkow in a few weks and wondered if any one knew off any hostels which have fiarly cheap single rooms at all? Prefer hostels as they are cheaper but prfer to have my own room. The more central the better cheers MR RUDDERS
Many Polish hostels have single and double rooms, though usually with shared bathroom. Plenty of choice in Krakow, see here. | 1
I stayed at the Sky Hostel a few years ago in Krakow, and got a private double room with shared bathroom for around 30 Euros a night. Check www.hostelworld.com, which I'm sure will show many other hostels with private rooms. Also check www.inyourpocket.com for recommendations. Dave | 2
Hi, I stayed at GregTom hostel about three years ago. it was a great place with a great location. However I am not sure if they have single rooms. However, from my memories I highly recommend it. It was less than 15 EUR (in 2005 as far as I remember). Since then Krakow might have become a bit more expensive. Mudem Edited by: mudem | 3
As it will still be low season, you might consider renting an apartment. I stayed here a few times, but there are a lot of other choices as well: http://discovercracow.com/apartamenty/2/31/Kent-Apartament/ This one is € 27,-- per night and it's fully equipped and as nice as in the pictures. I don't know if this would be within your budget. | 4
I also suggest you renting an apartment. You will surely find something suitable for you. Besides, in this period the prices are not that high and you might find something cheap. | 5
Don't stay at rhe Flamingo hostel. Rude staff, bad vibe, depressing and small common areas. | 6
