Russian visa from abroad for UK citizen

Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Russian visa for a UK citizen in any of the following countries?
Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Kosovo, Armenia, Georgia.

Russian visas typically need to be applied for in and from the country of residence.
If you have 2 passports, send one home.

Thanks Peter. I thought that was the case but just wanted to make sure. Although I think they have to be applied for in person so sending home my passport won't work.
