| cochradi02:42 UTC03 Aug 2007 | Mut is neither a city nor on the Mediterranean coast... Probably a couple of hours from the coast, an hour at best (it is a windy road). The Goksu River gorge is beautiful, lovely hiking and so on... I assume you are going to be working on an archeaological dig? That is the only reason that I can think of to be there, actually...
The Alahan Monastary further up the gorge is worth a visit. The Goksu is also famous as the river in which Barbarossa met his untimely end in 1190. There is a plaque to mark the spot. If you get to the coast, the main resort in the area is Kizkalesi.
Don't know what you mean about not finding information on Mut - just google Mut Turkey and you'll get lots of info.
