Country forums / Eastern Europe & the Caucasus / Turkey

A friend from this forum recomended me to arrange the Istanbul-Erzurum flight through a local airline. I will buy the ticket from Spain (using Internet), and I would like to know if this companies are reliable:

ThanksĀ”

What do you mean 'reliable'? They all have airplanes and fly from place to place in Turkey. Just go with whatever has the best price and schedule. Safety standards are fine.

Onur Air is currently banned from flying to several European countries due to safety issues, so you might what to go with the other two if possible.

2

#1's information is incorrect. There was a temporary problem last year due to poorly kept maintenance records (not actual safety problems) and the ban was over within a few weeks. They still fly to the EU. Stop spreading misinformation.

3

they are all especially very "reliable" since the Turkish Airlines is talking about a strike right in the middle of the high tourist season.

4

#3's quite correct, Onur Air flies a lot of charters out of the UK in the summer. The airlines you listed are comparable to Spanair, Air Europa, etc in Spain.

Does anyone have any tips on getting the Onur Air site to work?

Hello....

i used all this airlines and they are efficient, quite good, sometimes better than many classic european airlines.
Websites :
For my opinion and experience, Pegasus is the best, well working, Onur should work but requiers a phone nummer in Turkey, and Atlasjet's does not work.
