Going to Croatia from Venice on October 3rd! Bus on the ferry or flying i ?

Country forums / Eastern Europe & the Caucasus / Croatia

We are planning 7 days to Croatia in October starting with Dubrovnik, There we are thinking that we could through a travel agency inform us about busses to few places. Is this possible? Next, What is the best way to travel from Croatia to Parlermo or any places in Sicily? or do we have to go to Rome? We would appreciate any feed back as this area it new to us. Thank you for any help.

Is best defined as flying? Otherwise, it's boat to Bari/Ancona/Brindisi and then bus/train to Sicily. I'm sure you can get info from a bus company but it helps to have some idea of where you want to go.

Am confused by your question about how to get to Croatia from Venice. Why would you start in Dubrovnik?
